RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY

As a Southern Californian who doesn't experience a lot of rain, these will have to suffice as my rain boots

A quick thrift trip that I quickly regretted.  

I felt like I was driving a boat more than a car because all of the streets were flooded.  Look ^^, there were no curbs because there was so much water! I don't even know why I left my house.  Mental note, next time there's a storm, do not leave your house Ashley.  I really should have learned from my hydro plane experience with this girl, but no. Stupid me wanted to thrift.  Never again.  

A 5 mile distance and 35 minutes later.  Happy at home with Sock Monkey socks on my feet and a hot cup of tea in my hand.  Ah, this is how a rainy day should be spent.  Inside, on the couch.

WHAT? If you like all things pretty and vintage, you are going to love this vintage sale!  There are a variety of things for sale, like clothing, furniture, paper goods...etc.  I've attended almost all of these sales and I am never disappointed.  I always leave with two arm fulls of goodies and an empty wallet, but that never bothers me because I am too excited about my purchases!

I am really excited for the Vintage Sale, I definitely plan on spending all my tips on it!  Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to go to the other events but hopefully you can! The Urban's Sample Sale sounds way fun.  Who can beat $5 per item?! Well, thrift stores can, but still! I love Urbans, I might just have to sneak on over there for a little bit... Hopefully you're able to attend one of these awesome possum events!

Anywhos, The other day I went on a quick thrift trip with my dear lady friend.  I really do love thrifting; thrifting is a happy medium for me because I love saving, but I also love to shop!  What girl doesn't?

EASTER FESTIVITIES

Yesterday was my first Easter as a Christian.  It was very special to me and it was spent at this girl's house where we ate and laughed until we were too tired to get up.  Here is a little video of the festivities! Enjoy!

CURRENTLY

I apologize for abandoning you guys.  I've been feeling a mix of emotions, but I have to admit that 70% of it has to be laziness. I don't even remember the last time I touched my camera, it could possibly be two months? Yikes!  Here is my attempt at making an effort again:

• I'm starting Herballife, time to focus on nutrition and fitness!  I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
• I gave up red and white meat for Lent, so I have been eating loads of shrimp, portobello mushrooms, and tofu.  It's been pretty easy, but  I do have those occasional meat craving.
• Two weeks a go the beautiful Reinna Sherie turned my ombre locks burgundy and gave me bangs.
• Two weeks later, I've realized bangs aren't a good look for me.
• Oprah's Lifeclass is flawless.  Here are some notes: 
•      - PAIN= Pay Attention Inward Now
•      - Pain is trying to get your attention while your busy looking outside for healing
•      - 3 steps-  feel, deal, heal
• Embarrassing as it is, I'm liking Justin Bieber's new track, "Boyfriend."  Don't judge.
• After watching Biggie and Tupac, I am convinced that Tupac is still alive.  (Don't scoff until you research!)
• I recently brushed the cobwebs off of my disney pass to go with this lady friend.  The TRON club at California Adventures has got to be my favorite! We danced until our feet couldn't handle it anymore.  
• The Hunger Games movie.  I read all of the books and I was actually impressed with the film.  I thought the acting was pretty good (especially Effie and Caesar!) and I thought the directing was pretty smart.
• I am really liking the new blogger layout! It's different but much more cleaner and crisp.
