if you didn't already know, today was the release of me & mr. cassidy's music video, wherever you go.  it was only a year ago when i first fell in love and i'm so freaking proud of them that they finally have a video!  take a listen and i promise you will fall in love just liked i did. 

video was directed by christian moldes, shot by ica images, produced by just another productions, and is starring cathy baron and pat sperry.

california sunday

last sunday, i drove to la to spend much deserved time with my favorite red head, hope.  it was truly a beautiful sunday. you know, that day when the skies are blue without a cloud in sight, only a light sweater is needed, and everyone seems to be smiling?  yeah, us californians are spoiled.  we first ventured to silver lake to eat at cafe stella; if you haven't tried their lemon ricotta pancakes, you clearly haven't lived.  after we enjoyed silver lake, we went to venice and walked along the boardwalk.  it was a beautiful california sunday that ended with dancing until sunset.

if you didn't already know, oh, hello friend just had their grand opening! so when danni asked me to make all of the chalk signs for the store, i couldn't have been more excited!  the new store is in downtown fullerton which is ten minutes away from where i live and walking distance from my school, so i will definitely be visiting between classes.  the night couldn't have gone any better with good people, yummy treats, a photo booth, a diy station, and of course oh, hello friend goodies!  if you're in the fullerton area, go pop in to say hi and take a look at her awesome stuff, i promise you will love it!

a year ago, today, i had the pleasure of being the wedding stylist at my friends' wedding.  christian and reinna are one of favorite couples, so i was honored when they asked me to assist with the decor.  they wanted something that was very intimate, fun, and laid back, so we opted for a diy look. we spent many days having "diy parties" to make decor, and what we didn't make, we purchased at thrift stores and flea markets.  it is definitely my favorite wedding that i have yet to be apart of.  congrats creinna on your one year mark!

yesterday, my mom and i made a trip to the hammer museum in la.  instantly, we were welcomed by the color of meg cranston's mural, california and fireplace.  yunhee min's terrace installation, 'for instance,' was my absolute favorite!  it consists of large and colorful drapes that overlook the terrace and the streets of la.  who knew something as simplistic as drapes, could be so fun and exciting?  

2012 Recap

Looking back, 2012 was a good year that went by way too quickly.  it was a year of many firsts, like the time i styled a wedding and a photo shoot, the first time i saw mumford & sons (twice), the time i became a red head, the first time i worked in retail, that time i got my nose pierced (twice)...etc.  so far, 2013 is looking pretty darn promising!
